GATE cut-off scores by school in WA
Selective entry in WA works from one ranked ASET score, so each academic program fills from the top down and its entry point moves every year. The 2026 selective-entry cut-off was 209.5. Everest Tutoring lists the twelve schools families ask about most below, and publishes each school's figure only once the Department releases it.

Why there is no single number
A cut-off is an outcome, not a rule. Each program has a fixed number of places, offers are made down the ranked list until they run out, and the last offer made becomes that year's cut-off. Change the cohort or the number of places and the number moves.
That is also why the fully selective school and the academic extension programs sit at different levels, and why a score that earns an offer at one school in one year may not the next.
We do not publish estimates. Where the figure below is blank, it is because the Department has not released it, not because we are holding it back.

All of these run a gifted and talented academic program selected by ASET. Perth Modern School is the only fully selective school in the state, which is why it is listed first.

What to do with this as a parent
Pick the schools you would actually accept a place at, check on the Department site that each one runs the program you want in the year you are applying, and then stop optimising for a number. The application is ranked once, and the student's score is the only lever you hold.
