What the term fee covers
One price, no extras. Booklets, marking, reports and support are all inside the term fee.
- Printed Everest booklets with worked examples, practice sets and answers
- Homework checked in class, with the tutor seeing every student's working each week
- A topic test each unit and a written report at the end of the term
- Access to the GATE AI Question Bank for enrolled GATE students
- 24/7 tutor support through the Everest app
- Two missed-class credits a term with 24 hours notice
- The first class, free, before you pay anything
What you are never billed for
There is no enrolment fee, no booking fee, no materials fee and no exit fee. The first class is free with no payment details taken. Mock exams inside a GATE term are included, and the free GATE mock exam for Year 4 and 5 students new to Everest costs nothing at all.
The billing rules, beside the prices.
Written out here rather than buried, because a surprise on an invoice costs more trust than it saves money.
| Term | What it means |
|---|---|
| Sibling discount | 10% off for one sibling, 15% off for two or more. Group classes only. |
| Referral discount | The referrer and the new family each get 20% off that term, stacking to a cap of the full fee. New students only, claimed at enrolment. |
| Stacking | Discounts do not stack with each other. The highest single discount applies. |
| Joining mid-term | Join any week. Fees are pro-rated so you pay only for the weeks remaining in the term. |
| Missed classes | Up to two missed classes a term carry forward as credit to the next term when you give at least 24 hours notice. Catch-ups are subject to availability; otherwise materials are provided. |
| Refunds | No refunds for missed classes or change of mind. Enrolment commits you to the term's fees. If Everest cancels a class, you receive a credit or a refund. |
| One-to-one cancellations | Cancel with at least 24 hours notice and nothing is charged. Under 24 hours is charged in full. |
| Interview programme | A full refund within 14 days of enrolling, and fees convert to Everest tutoring credit if no interview invitation arrives. |
| GST | Every price on this page includes GST. There is no enrolment fee, booking fee or materials fee. |

Small group against a private tutor
Ten weeks of a small-group subject costs less than half of ten private hours, and buys the same tutors.
| Option | Contact time over a term | Cost | Per hour |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 weeks of small-group class (one subject) | 10 hours, plus homework marked in class | $350 to $400 | $35 to $40 |
| 10 hours with a private tutor | 10 hours, one to one | $600 to $900 | $60 to $90 |
For a specific gap or an exam in the next fortnight, one-to-one is the better buy. For steady progress across a term, the small group gives more contact time per dollar and the student sees how other students answer.
