Year 6 GATE tutoring for the March ASET
Everest Tutoring's Year 6 GATE class is the final run to the ASET in March: a weekly 2.5-hour small-group class, capped at 10, at Harrisdale, Willetton and Perth Modern, with a full timed mock every three weeks. In 2026, 103 Everest students received selective-school offers. The first class is free.

How a lesson runs
The tutor introduces or revises the concept with worked examples on the board, one component at a time.
Students work from the Everest booklet while the tutor checks every student's working, so mistakes are caught in the room.
The last part of every class is doubt time and one-to-one guidance. Nobody moves on until everyone has it, and the booklet goes home with answers at the back.
